NOTICE OF WORKS AND CLOSURE OF THE KANAMALUKA TRAIL
This notice is to advise residents of Council’s upcoming capital works project to upgrade the gravel section of the Kanamaluka Trail to a 2.5m wide concrete path, including a realignment of a small section to run parallel to Low Head Road.
The image on the following page indicates the location of works.
Council has a contractor ready to commence works starting the week beginning Monday 13th May 2024, with completion anticipated within 8-10 weeks, weather dependent.
To ensure public safety, and to allow the contractor to undertake the works as efficiently as possible, the section of the Kanamaluka Trail between the northern end of Esplanade North and the wooden bridge near Low Head Road will be closed entirely. It is anticipated that the closure will be in place for 6-8 weeks.
