On numerous occasions, Council's Municipal Inspector will impound a dog that is not registered with Council, and therefore it is difficult to identify the owners of the animal.
In an endeavour to find a suitable home for these dogs, Council has determined that residents may now apply to adopt any dogs which require a loving home.

If you find a dog you want to offer a home to, Council's Municipal Officer will neet to determine the animal is suitable for your circumstances. This process may include a home visit.
