Works Depot

Council maintains a Works Depot, operating from Franklin Street in George Town.

Depot staff are involved in the following areas within the George Town Municipality:

• roads and footpath maintenance
• maintenance of public parks and gardens
• water mains and reticulation management
• tree management
• responding to service requests; and
• providing logistical support for community events
